LS1 front brakes
 

Does anyone make a fitting to adapt the 3/16" brake line to the metric rubber brake line for the ls1 brakes? Or is it possible to run the 69 lines and mate them to the ls1 calipers? Any input would be great.

These adapters will allow you to adapt metric to standard AN... which is the typical way to accomplish what you are trying to do without re-inventing the wheel. It mounts to the frame rail and the standard flex attachment point and allow you to run braided flex to the caliper.

I used (IIRC) a set of Earls braided steel brake lines for a '69 Camaro with rectangular banjo fittings and the LS1 caliper banjo bolts.

The caliper uses a M10x1.0 banjo bolt while most pre-1978 GM vehicles use 7/16, so that swap doesn't work out so well. There are plenty of 1978+ hoses available off the shelf if you want to go the rubber hose route and don't mind doing some searching, or you could buy a set of braided stainless to suit your needs.

A third option would be to just cut and reflare your hard line at the frame to match the M10x1.0 ISO bubble flare used on the LS1 hose and use the hoses you've got.
