AME subframe with c5/c6 suspension?

Who has first hand experience with how well it handles? How does the steering feel? I am 99% sure this is the way i am going for my 67 camaro. It seems this is easier than rewelding the stocker and all the different mods to get an ls1 to fit and handle the way i want. Since i can run a larger front tire i am just going to get some used high end wheels and brakes (brembo/ccw/fikse) from the corvette forums for half price so that will offset the price of the sub and i get twice the performance. Sweet deal since i was going with those items anyways!

you definitely cannot beat the feel of a after market subframe, plus if mini tubbing you can run a larger front wheel so you can keep the differential down, front to back. ame or dse are both great subframes that handle well and ride even better, i say go for it, get an aftermarket sub and look for the other high ticket items used, you won't regret it.

He is just being modest, he also has a aftermarket front subframe that uses C5-C6 parts
You might want to check it out also.
