a dodge 3/4ton quad cab short bed is pushing ~7500-8000lb

1/2 tons are 5000-6000lb range pend congifuragtion

im sure the 1/4 the truck is faster then the s2000.. but i agree the honda "should"have been able to catch him easier then he did.

GVWR isn't the same as curb weight.

GVWR is the total allowed weight of the vehicle including passenger load, cargo load, fuel load, tongue weight, etc.

Curb weight of a stock 2006 Quad Cab 4x4 2500 Cummins motivated truck is listed at 6989# with a GVWR of 9000#.
