Belt tensioner from Vintage Air
 

Anyone know what car/engine the tensioner Vintage Air uses comes from. The one they have on the new Front runner system for Ls engines.

That would be a hard one to pin down. The tensioner is made by Dayco, we get ours from the same company, but I couldn't even tell you what car it was designed for originally.

I was looking at Dayco's site but it wasn't so helpful finding it out. I guess it is on some vehicle. I though it would fit well on my setup I have. As it is now I adjust the compressor to get tension on the belt. But I would like to have a proper tensioner since there is some movement in the belt depending on engine loads.

The one that came with my engine is pointing to the right but I would like to have one the points to the left.

The one you have Tyler, do you sell just the tensioner?
