someone able/willing to finish pro-touring project for me (not for free of course) ?

Kind of a strange request I guess... but I might be "firing" my builder who has had my 68 Camaro in his shop in NV since December 2006. I have given him a deadline of end of Sept and if he is not done with the car (he should be close at least) I am trailering it back to the bay area. I am not really wanting to take it to one of the shops that would likely jack me with a bunch more T&M labor charges. I understand that is their business, but I don't think that is what I need at this final stage of the project. There aren't gonna be many more parts to buy, many some small misc things but that's about it.

Anyone interested, capable, willing, or know of anyone? I am in San Francisco and the car will probably be taken somewhere in the east bay where I work to be stored/garaged somewhere.

thanks in advance

Where in Nevada is it? We have 1 open bay and would be willing to discuss it.

Judging by the photos, it won't be done by September regardless of who does it. Tyler would be a good choice if you do fire them. Looks like Los Wages to my TeeToe.
The finish work is everything on a car. If you have the skills and knowledge to do it yourself. Nobody knows your taste like you do. If you are an anal fuc. like me, maybe your better off with someone else doing it. Be done alot sooner.:unibrow:

Unfortunately just outside of Reno. That would be great if I was close to you.

Thanks for the offer.

The car is a lot further along than those photos. No recent ones since I live 4 hours away from the shop doing the work.

If I was closer I would definitely consider ATS, no doubt.

I have neither the skills or the tools/garage to work on my own cars. So I have to pay others to do it, which I am fine with.

Been fun following your build Vegas69.

Thanks buddy. I have had to slow down on mine. Working my ass off and trying to finish the car in record time had to stop. Luckily I am at that 90 percent point. It's pretty inexpensive to get it here from Reno man.

Yeah I just hope he can focus and get it done here so I don't have to take it somewhere. Keeping my fingers crossed, but just wanted to get some feelers out there in case I need to jump...

i would really consider ATS... they do top notch work in a timely manner and tyler is as honest as they come...its not easy to find a good shop for these types of builds.
o yeah i love you 68 its gonna be one bad mama jama.lol

You can check out the work we do. I'm picking up a 68 next weekend which makes for our 2nd customer currently from the bay area. I'm going up there next saturday with a 2 car trailer to pick up rich allens car.
