ProTouring 442's Pro Touring 442
Well, I figure I should document a little of my progress. Here we have the under hood shot:

I am widening it to clear the shifter. http://right-hat.smugmug.com/photos/...1_U3e3z-XL.jpg Here is the console top sitting on the remains of the console to give an idea of how it should look. http://right-hat.smugmug.com/photos/...6_f6RW5-XL.jpg Shiny Side Up! Ah, an update! Actually, I have been working on the 442 a bit lately, this is just the one thing I have stopped to photograph!
Anyway, in the midst of designing my console I decided I needed a shifter knob. Of course, it couldn't just be any off the shelf item  so here it is... Shiny Side Up! Bill |

Kinda "old school" looking but cool. |
Thank you! It's supposed to look "period" if you will, but in an updated sort of way (read: not a ball), like something you might have found in an upscale sports car. Here is an older shot of the dash. The lower teak is yet to be cleared, but you get the picture.
