Lokar Throttle Cable

Hey guys, I purchased a universal Lokar throttle cable for my s10, but the part that attaches to the cable itself does not match up with that "fork" like the stock cable does, has anyone come up with a solution to this?

Thanks!
Nate

Nate, you mean the clevis? It doesn't fit the carb?

Other end, it doesnt fit on the actual pedal itself, the stock cable had this plastic peice that clipped into there, its hard to describe. I can take a picture if that helps?

sounds like he's talking about the pedal. It is shaped like a fork on the end with a barrel-shaped deal crimped on the cable to hold it to the pedal arm.

Here is what the lokar cable looks like:

Not my truck but the pedal connection is the same.

Any suggestions?

I don't see why you can't use it as is. There is the clevis deal on the end, think of that as the barrel deal on your stock cable. Drop the cable down the slot and the clevis holder will keep it in place from pulling through. Hole in the firewall with that fitting and nut, and you're set.
