installed my hydroboost unit from Hydratech
bought this from Paul a while back, but could not initially install it as it did not clear my turbo headers. I spoke with Paul and he custom made me a shorter unit using a Viper master and several pounds of "experiments" in aluminum............ I ran the return line off the unit direct to the ps reservoir with a simple #6 bulkhead fitting, instead of teeing into the existing return line off the steering box.
The brakes are awesome and everything is silky smooth. Quite a difference over the previous power booster, which I thought was fine. Just wanted to publicly thank Paul for the help and give props to a great product. Yes, I still need to build a new heat shield.......... Jody http://www.camcojb.com/temp/hydroboost.jpg http://www.camcojb.com/temp/hydroboost1.jpg http://www.camcojb.com/temp/hydroboost2.jpg |
 looks good.

Do you think routing that line directly to the reservoir gives you better pedal over the standard hose routing?

Looks sick show some pics of the turbos or an overall of the engine. We are doing a twin Turbo right now. They just look so sick

Looks amazing!
So what is the down side of 'cooking' the steering fluid? Steering loss? Would it be sudden or a deterioration of the fluid over time from boiling? |
