I put a trick flow top end kit on it that they dynoed on a 383 with flat top pistons and it made 490 horse and 440 torque. My qustion is what the power diffrence in the cubic inches? The cam is hydrolic with246*/254* duration at .050 lift .495"/.510"with 1.5 ratio rockers,112* lobe separation. We had a 327 short block. stock deck, 60 over bore. I don't remember the cam specs but they were less than yours. Had the Trick Flow intake and a Holley 750 carb. Also, the compression was WAY low.. like 9:1 (to run the cheap gas). I will post the results on monday but I think it was 394hp and 370 tq ... your combo should make a bit more, defiently into the 400s. |
thanks some guy over at nasty z28 told me I was only going to make 360 horse, this motor stock made 365 horse[68 Vette)Plus I also have a Zex perimeter plate nitrous kit that i'm going to run a150 shot, should be a little screamer:D http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/q...z28/327017.jpg

That's a lot of cam for the cubic inches. What's the compression ratio?
