LS1 brake mounts question

http://www.pozziracing.com/12_corvet...es_on_fgen.htm

At the bottom of the page is the template for the front brakes. I was wondering what the thickness of the bracket should be? Anyone know? Thanks!

it is .25 inch thick. that template is for 13 inch rotors. you need to move caliper holes in about half inch to use with camaro ls1 rotors

I thought the template on the right is for the 12 inch rotors? Is that correct?

I had a buddy of mine CNC a set for me. I am holding out drilling the holes until I can get to the car and test fit them.

Can you please explain why you think this? If you know something not listed on the page, fill us in. This is the text found directly next to the pictures...

Left is Rich Downing's template. I have been told the 12" and 13" brackets are the same with different "baskets" being the only difference, but it's unconfirmed because I have none of these parts. -David

Right is Brian's finished 12" bracket, the 6" marks are just for size, do not indicate the hole spacing. Increase or decrease rint out scale till the 6" actually measures 6" on your printout.

13" I tried using that info for my own LS1 brake conversion and had to move the holes. In the end, I took my own measurements and designed my own bracket.

same here. stock caliper baskets are same, i made bracket from that template and did not work with 12 inch rotors. caliper was out to far 1/2 inch
