Tony's car "Karma" has arrived

Tony's Camaro made it to the shop at 6:30. We gave it a quick wash, and shot some pics.....Overall the car doesn't look too bad. It's in all the areas where a lot of people neglect when doing them over, like in the jams back of fenders ect... that needs the most work.

Oh good it made it there safe! Thanks for taking/posting the pics, didn't take you long to find the major problems!

Thanks again Pete!! I'm damn happy you are doing the car!!

pete, not bad, you will have that fixed in no time.
by the looks, with some more prep and better taping, the old painter would of probably made the owner happy.
it is easy to paint a car assembled, but the job is not nearly as nice and detailed as when its blown apart for panel painting, which as you can see hear killed the other guy. man those spots probably look horrid with the shiny paint close by.
that door jamb made me dry heave

definitely looking forward to seeing progress on this one. Sucks it wasn't done right the first time and like mentioned already doesn't look like it would have taken much more time and effort to have had it done right.

Good thing you didn't see the seam sealer! Might need a breath mint and a shoe shine!!

in this particular case, will you still need to take the whole car apart and start over or is some things (the other painter did) thats salvageable?
Just curious.

This car will come completely apart and be prepped properly. Then it will be painted with the trunk and nose off the car in pieces. Then assembled.
