S10 w/ wilwood clutch master

I'm having problems w/ the clutch pedal being too stiff w/ a rough release.

I have a 1992 S10 blazer that has a V8 & I'm using a NV3500 5 speed manual trans. I have a new OEM slave I'm running for the trans. It's going through a -3AN line (I'm going to change it out to a -4AN line, very soon) connected to a Wilwood remote master. The master is a .750" bore w/ 1.100" stroke & has a modified pedal rod to mount to the stock clutch pedal. The eye of the master's rod connects to the clutch pedal about half way between the OEM rod location & the pedal pad.
The reason I needed to run the clutch master so low is because I could not use an OEM master because of lack of header clearance (OEM master sits a 1/4 of the way in the #3 & #5 header tubes). So, I needed to relocate it to a different hole & seems the hole I used was originally for the older style clutch cable, not hydraulic lines, & is right in line w/ the clutch pedal. There's also a hole in the clutch pedal, from the factory, & that's where I mounted the Wilwood's master's rod eye.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this setup is not working correctly? Anyone also know off-hand what the stroke of an OEM S truck's master would be? Thanks in advance for any help.
