My Nova Comes Home

5 Attachment(s)
Well after 8 years in storage I finally decided it was time to bring the Nova home. The last time I worked on it I had it blasted twice (both jobs sucked), sent out all the moldings (in which all the important pieces were taken by the chromer who suddenly went out of business and disappeared), built a small block 406 (which I had to sell) & so on & so on.
Everything that could go wrong at the time DID. So I hung it up for awhile. Eventually family life intervened (2 girls 6 & 3) and I bought a house. After seeing some of the Novas being built by some of the members a spark was lit. I will say Bruce Hedricks Nova is what really got me going again. So I brought it home and will give it another try. Its not in the best shape after all this time but its all there and its mine.

Already said it but I'll say it again! '63 Convert? Ironworks is the place to take it to!

Ironworks would be nice but I don't think I have Ironworks money. Love your Nova John.

Not to state the obvious, but it doesn't look like it's "all there":_paranoid

Kidding aside, looking forward to see it all come together! What do the plans consist of?

LOL Jeff!!

Nothing radical, LSx with a 6 speed. Stock appearance. I've had thousands of ideas but I think back to the original burgundy paint/black interior is what I'm going to stick with. Suspension is up in the air right now. Pretty much similar to how you see Bruce Hedricks Nova, a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Ya don't have to go nuts like me but I think a conversation with Rodger would definitely put you on the right track. I seem to remember him having an LS and t-56 combo laying around the shop for sale!:unibrow:

Well if it helps I have been looking for some stock floor novas and Camaro's to work on. I have some bitchin product ideas we are starting to manufacture that should fill in the gaps of what is currently on the market. Front suspension, with a 3 link and mini tubs would be a pretty cool set up. We are in the process of developing all 3 right now.

Hey Rodger if you need a car for some research & development I can provide you with one. But it will be awhile before I can afford a shop like yours. The lineup of Novas you have now is pretty impressive, along with Rich's Camaro.

We have 3-4 other Camaros coming in for the Nova treatment real soon. We are knee deep in the tri-5 parts I'm working on first, I hope to be intalling those on our test vehicle real soon. Then I'm gonna start some of my Bolt-On Nova parts.
