C6 wheels for my 67 Camaro
Spotted a nice set of c6 wheels and would like to know if they would fit onto my 67 Camaro. They are 18x10.5 and 19x12. My car is on a rotissere so now is a good time to purchase wheels and fit them properly. I am thinking of purchasing a rear multi leaf srping kit for the dream and possibly ATS AFX spindles. Although with this size of wheels might not need the spindles. Tell me what you boys think.

Zo6 wheels
I have a 1969 camaro. I just bought a 2009 Z06 And I changed the wheels to the chrome spider ones. I have the chrome orginal 18x9.5 and 19x12 I want to put them on my camaro. Who makes a adpapter or spacer For that? I have looked and found nothing. I think they would look good. I think the ones you are looking at would look good on your car. My camaro has stock suspension. I might have to change the front clip or spindels? Any Info would be appreciated

I am running an after market clip
21st Century that takes C5 stuff. C6 rim and tire package 18x8.5 on front and 19x10 on the rear. Mine has a slight mini tub and I had the rear built (width wise) to get the spacing right.
On my car I have the room to bolt on a C6 Z06 front rim and tire package. That is about as big as I can go. I have bolted my rear tire 19x10 with a 285 and it cleared fine but I did not drive it like that. Again this is not on a stock subframe The spacer size would have to be so large on the front I would not do it on a stock track width first gen. I think the back spacing on a C6 rim with 8.5 width is 6 5/8 and on the 18x10 rear it is 7 1/8. |
C6 wheels have dimensions of 18 x 8.5 x 56mm offset and 19 x 10 x 79mm offset front and rear, respectively. For those who think better in backspacing, that's about 6.84" and 8.68" front and rear.
A 10.5 inch wide front wheel, if it's even possible, is going to make your steering radius worse than a semi truck with a stock subframe :wow: ...you'll need a "Caution - This vehicle makes wide turns" sticker on the back bumper. Tobin KORE3 |

New wheels
I just purchased a set of 2007 C6 wheels 18x8.5" and 19x10. Hopefully they are ok without too much hassle. Although did forget to ask about backspacing so it might be a obstacle but hopefully they slide right in.

As stated above
You are going to need close to a 2 inch spacer on the front and pretty close to that on the rear...assuming you are running stock front sub and stock rear width rear.
If the rear tubs are stock you are going to be very close on clearance and a 275 tire is going to be the max unless you widen it some. Congrats on the purchase and post up pics when you get them on |
