Opinions on Hotchkis TVS suspension system?
Hey guys,
Does anyone have experience with the Hotchkis TVS suspension system? http://www.hotchkis.net/p-503-tvs-system-big-block.aspx I was looking at combining this with the Speedtech UCA and LCA's. Overall ride is a big aspect that I do not want to sacrifice. |
We just did a TVS kit on a 1968 Camaro with a Ram Jet 350 and TKO 5 speed. The car came in with all stock suspension other then new front balljoints and control arm bushings(stock replacement). Car was all over the road, kinda like a boat in water.
After we did the install the customer didnt even know that it was the same car. I would put another TVS kit on anyday. But if the customer wanted a full pro touring set up, I would call DSE, Jakes, or the other front sub frame shops. |
I installed the TVS in my 68 Camaro. Went from stock original mono leafs and big block springs (that I cut) to the TVS. It went from a handful to a joy to drive along with the other changes I made (manual to power steering IROC box). I would do it again in a heartbeat. Frank @ Prodigy Customs gave me a great deal on the full kit including the shocks.

A friend of mine used it on his 68 and says nice things. The car has a killer stance and he's happy. I haven't driven it though.

In our opinion the TVS kit is the very best bang for the buck suspension package one can buy. Combined with there shocks, some upper arms and frame connectors, it is a huge improvemnt. And to make it better, we have a $150 rebate on TVS kits right now in stock ready to ship.
