Body mount bushings 1st gen camaro

I have noticed there is stock height, and 1/2 drop. Whats better to use? Is the 1/2 drop bushing harder to line up the front clip?

I just barely got by with 1/2 height bushings and a tko600. I had to put in a two piece crossmember and shim up the tranny within a **** hair from the floor. It also gives you less air cleaner space. If you are running a t56 you will need to cut the tunnel.

on a first gen the steering column will not line up well with the steering box without addressing that issue, no isue on 2nd gen because the steering box is much further away .

TOTALLY AGREE! I used the 1/2" drop body mounts and had to raise the tunnel to clear my T56. Would I use them again....ummm no!

it is a good way to lower the car without affecting the suspension , BUT you need to be ready to deal with other potential issues, it's part of hot rodding cars

At least he was smart enough to ask. I found out mine had em after some issues. Now that it's over it worked out fine.

if there is one saying that should always be remembered when changing things on a car is " if I do this what else will it effect"

wouldnt i already have to modify my tunnel clearance with my front DSE subframe with a t56? If thats the case since im already doing the tunnel mod i might as well get the 1/2 body bushings. I want my car as low as possible
