Fuel tank on ebay

Has anyone bought this?

The seller says that the pump has a fuel return. Looks like a good set up for my LS motor.

I have not used one but I have seen threads on LS1 Tech and PT about them. I think if you read this thread it will show where to get it cheaper.

Same price $599. What suspension are you using and what tire width? If your not getting crazy on width (315 or less) and running a Quadralink or G-Bar, you might get away with the stock width, I just have yet to measure it up to be certain.

I bought one for my 1970 Chevelle. It fit perfectly. However, you may need to replace the fuel pump if you're running a high horsepower application. Simple enough though. I put in a Walbro GSS340. One other thing you might want to consider. The return line discharges right next to the pickup. When the tank starts running low you might have a problem with the returning fuel blowing fuel away from the pickup. I just trimmed the return line a bit and clamped on a rubber fuel line to divert the returning fuel away from the pickup. It seems to work.

What gas cap would you use for the 1973 Camaro tank? It seemed to be impossible to find a vented one for my FI setup, so I made my own. The cap would have to be a deep one, not the shallow ones.
