WARNING... Six Speed Inc .
 

Since many of us are using LS engines and 6 speeds I wanted to put out a warning to stay away from the company Six Speeds inc.

I bought and paid for a complete 6 speed from them and have not received it yet . I bought this in 07 and requested my money back since the problem . I was always put off and told they would send it in a few weeks.

To this day I still have nothing. I was told that a check was sent 1 month ago and still have not recieved it. I spoke to them by text messages since that is the only way to talk to them now and was told to contact her attorney.

Anyway please spread this info to steer clear from the company .

There is a 13 page thread on LS1 tech of people the have screwed. It appears they built the fastest NA 6 speed LS engine 02 camaro race car with all of our money .

They will get what's coming to them....that is a guarantee.

I need to find the thread on tech so I can add my $0.02 to them. I was screwed twice. Once was on a planned dyno tune day we were going to fly in their tuner.

I had a problem with them when I bought my 6-speed also.
They said turn around was 3 weeks. I took me 6 months of harassment for me to get the tranny. I made post on LS1tech about the problem. I'm sure my posts would come up in a search.
I feel sorry for you though cause thats along time.

They have there race car for sale also now. Trying to get 100,000 for a 50,000 car .

Wow!!!! I had a great transaction with them this year, they rebuilt the t-56 in my 69 also had free shipping.They also did a good job because I have beat on it. I hate that Amber and Joe have let a good business go to ****.

You may try the BBB (Better bussiness bureau). When you get them on the case they can change the attitude of them REAL quick. I had a similar situation happen to me, anyway it was resolved immediately after I called them. It worked for me. Good luck!:thumbsup:

$2K is no joke, if you have all records for dealing with them, I would get in touch with a lawyer.
