Member with a 68 GTO

Hey everyone
Been lurking here a while just realized that I had not posted an intro.
I have a 68 GTO that has all new front suspension from SC&C and wheels from Prodigy customs. Thanks to both Mark and Frank my car handles like its on rails!

Thanks for the welcome!

The car has been a drag car for part of its life and the former owner built the Pontiac motor. No specs but it pulls hard!

Front suspension is SC&C upper and lower control arms with AFX spindles and Lee quick ratio steering box. Linkages were replaced as well. Brakes up front are Baer 13 inch and a hydroboost and Wilwood master. Stock rear for now.

I have gotten it now to the point where it is mechanically safe to drive. I did all the mechanical work myself.

Seats and steering are next as well as putting the dash back together and changing the interior to black from the Ivy Gold (read yuk green).

Car looks great!!!
Any plans on changing your exhaust tips as well? I noticed they are in a different location that normal, not bashing, just wondering.

The exhaust system came with the car. The tips are just the pipes poking out the side with a little rust and overspray for character. For now I was thinking a little flat high temp black paint and shorten them. It is a small detail that should make car look much better. You have a good eye.

Thanks guys! I gotta thank Mark at SC&C for the stance - we spent a lot of time on the phone working out the details for the front and rear springs and ride height.
