So today I cleaned up my firewall and cut out a new fill plate. Im a bit stuck at this point. Im really trying to make it smoooooth. But I dont know if I should save the trim tag or not! Thoughts??

There are factory syle rivot kits available if you want to reattach it later. Which is an option.

I personally like them off, but for some reason I already drilled my holes when I was fabbing up my firewall! It looks cleaner without IMHO.

I leave them off.. keep them in an envelope with the car's paperwork.

The smoother the look the better in my opinion..

Oh, If I were you I would block off the two access holes to the the cage nuts for the subframe. So long as they are in good condition you should never need access and they look much better sealed up.

If you don't seal them up its really hard to make that area look good.

SHOOT! I was going to cover them and then I thought, no what if I need to get to them:lol: . Oh well good to find out now. Ill cut more metal tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!:cheers:
