Your thoughts on this rear brace?
I was glancing through the hotchkis web site and came across this brace.
http://www.hotchkis.net/p-824-67-69-...bar-brace.aspx Is there a lot of flex in the rear between the frame rails? I know I have heard a lot of people say that there is no need for a rear sway bar, but I was wondering if this brace could be beneficial or not. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...bri/824_3_.jpg |
Our 73 Camaro has cracks were their std bar brackets bolt to the floor pan. This bracket is a must have if you run the car hard. Our 73 would not handle worth squat without a rear bar. AND I modified our bar to be stiffer yet to balance the handling to where we needed it. We run a 295 rear tire, and a 275 front tie so need more rear bar to make up for the tire size difference.
