67 Camaro Resto Info Needed
 

I am getting a car back we finished last spring and the owner wants to upgrade a few things. He is under the impression that the brake booster is painted black. I thought they were plated like a gold colored. Can anyone shed some light into this? Or is there a place I can go look to see cars with the hoods open.

Rainbow gold cadnium plated, then dipped in some boiling water to knock the shine off! Really!

Ditto what Frank just said. I've been doing it for years on mid year Corvettes. Didn't know anybody else did it too.
