My attempt, pencil sketch

Hi, my name is Kim, 19 yrs from Sweden. I have seen many ideals at this forum. I dont have any experience in rendering, but I want to learn. Anyway this is my latest work (The scan did the pics a little strange & shaky). :P

Great looking drawings! Keep going. I had problems with the look of drawings after scanning them. You should get a decent program to help with making adjustments after you scan them. I use photoshop. There is a tool that lets you adjust the levels (how dark the darks are and how light the lights are). Keep at it. You'll only get better.

Way to go Old school! I love working with pencils, it's just so time consuming I haven't done much other than sketching for some time.

Here's one thing I tried when I was doing pencil to keep the smudges down- I bought some ultra cheap winter gloves and cut the finger tips off so I could still feel the pencil in my hand. The fabric of the gloves "soaked" up some of the led dust rather than building up on your hand and transferring back to the paper. Also I have this little "dry cleaning pad" that's filled with a fine eraser powder. I'd shake it over the paper before I started and it created a thin layer that my hand would actually glide over rather than rub on the drawing. Then when I was done you could just rub the pouch over the blank parts of the paper to pick up andy mild smudges. I got it with my tool kit when I took a drafting class back in 9th grade in 1984. Still have it pull it out on occasion. Here's a link to it, I'll bet you could find a supplier over there that carries them.

Keep up the good work!

Haha I was actually on my way to invent something like that dry-cleaning pad, it looks like a good tool together with a pair of gloves! thank you very much for the tips!
I will try to get one of thoose and also give more time to draw.

I found a sample of the level adjustment I was telling you about. This way you can see why it is a must have. Here is the before (fresh from the scanner);

Here it is again with less than a minute of tweeking (it really is that easy);

Hope this helps,

I have a hard time drawing a round circle so I'm far from an expert but your proportions are excellent and I see a lot of detail, keep up the good work.
