Chevu aluminum BB heads....what are they worth?

I have found a set of 69 aluminum heads that are in good shape and have been checked out by a machine shop...everything is fine. They are complete with valves and springs installed. Any idea what they are worth?
They are 3919842 heads that were for

as a performance head they arent super... you might be able to find a "numbers matching" guy that needs just that very head on his chevelle or corvette.... in which case they are worth well 1500-2000 isnt to unthinkable if the date code is right too, but outright anywhere from 500-1000 on ebay or racingjunk....

but try a high reserve auction on ebay and see what happens..

i might be interested in them as well :-)

if you want to install them on your own car, id say no (unless you HAVE to have that date code on your tripower 69 corvette) .... its either alot of angle milling to unshroud valves and subseqent porting.. and then it will still suck on the street compared to almost and aftermarket BBC head... a pair of AFR´s or Profilers.. even RHS heads will outperfoem them by 80-100 Hp and be more streetable

Thanks very much for the info. I was curious how well they actually performed. I have a set of stock iron 350hp 396 heads on the car right now and was looking at an upgrade.

Those heads are rectangle ports, the iron heads you have are ovals. Bolting the rectangles on will hurt bottom end. Not really an upgrade in my opinion.

Sell them and get some edelbrock or brodix aluminum ovals.

If I changed the heads, the proper intake manifold would be installed as well.

The intake has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, the problem is that the ports on the old rectangle heads are too big, and smaller CI engines don't get any velocity at street RPM.
