Stuck off of I95 in St Augustine need help/suggestions

We're having probs with an 84 suburban 454 tow vehicle off of I 95 on state road 16 in I believe st Augustine. Need to find a shop or someone to fix carb or ignition prob. Seems to be running really rich or timing is off. No tools with us. Any suggestions appreciated. Truck does run but no power and only a few miles per gal towing an enclosed.

There is a member that is local there, his name is Andrew. His username is 69nova.
His family owns a Campground right off the interstate, but I don't have his number handy.
Call Frank at Prodigy, he may have some contacts, not that far from him.

I do not have any connections up there. Your 100 miles away, but I could run up there in the morning and take a look. Happy to do a phone call? I am up till 11PM

I talked to Andrew already and he recommended a local guy (hot rod kinda guy) I just happened to speak with this afternoon after a recommendation with a local tow truck operator.

Frank , I may give ya a ring and pick your brain if ya don't mind. I've had similar probs in the past and haven't been able to get things correct myself or by having 4 different shops look at it over the past several years.

Turned out to be a fouled plug that only showed up under load. New plug and back on the road. Made upper NC tonight. Andrews buddy Mike found it quick with a cool tester he had.

Bill you have a killer memory. I saw Johns post on P-T.com and pm'ed him my number.
