Looking for Budnik wheels and suspension information for my build!!!!

Hello all, I am new to this forum thing but im hoping to get some good info here to help me with my build....I am in the process of building a 68 r/s camaro pro touring style, I have already done the mini tubs, shaved the firewall and marker lights (trying to decide if I want to shave the door handles), have installed the heidts front subframe with tubular control arms and coil overs....

I need some recommendations for rear suspension, also need to know who has the best price on budnik wheels....I REALLY like the budnik trigs, and I need either 17x11 or 18x11 rear with a 5.25 backspace, and 17x8 front with a 4 7/8 backspace....Can any one recommend which wheel/tire combination gives the best stance, maybe some pictures ??? Please help me out if you can!!
:hail: Thanks, Rob

Call Frank at Prodigy Customs. He can help you with all of your suspension needs. Last time I checked on Budnik wheels, Noel at Touring Classics had the best price. One word of caution, Budnik has an 8 week lead-time from what I hear.

Suspension recommendations

 Thanks for the info on the wheels, I did forget to ask about rear suspension...can anyone give some recommendations, this will be a street driven (mabye 1500 to 2000 miles a year)..pro-touring style car, not sure which way to go ...I was told that a 4-link is more for racing, I have been looking at the g-bar set up, but I am listening to recommendations....so please tell me your opinions...Thanks, Rob

What's your budget?

rear suspension budget

I would like to keep the budget around $1500 or so, I already have a moser 12 bolt i purchased for it...the tubes are bare with no tabs or brackets welded so i can set it up the way I want it, it is also narrowed to 54 3/4 from axle flange to axle flange....I also already have the DSE leaf springs with re-locator , that came as a kit with the mini tubs, im just not sure about using it and I am looking at other options! Any ideas or is the DSE spring set up worth keeping???

I'd go ahead and keep the leafs since you have them. The 4-link will give you better ride quality, but given he amount of miles you plan on driving it, keep the leafs. That's just my opinion.

I agree that's not really a lot of miles per year...I would be tempted to stick with the leafs and use the $1500 elsewhere. Are they 2" or 3" drop leafs....3" I hope!
