I wouldn't call it a simple engine to build, just takes lot of time to get the right parts to assemble the engine. Mine has a Crower Maxi Light crank, Crower Maxi Light series 5 rods, Katech piston squirters, Ross Racing pistons. There is photos on my site of the engine, but I should have some new photos and video of the dyno soon.

Thats really intresting!! I automaticly at LS3 would be too small for the 2300 but its same as in LS9.. Do you feel at the stock rods and crank cant take it?

Keep us posted of the results.

Whats the TVS2300 worth?
Jeff awsome engine

Could this TVS2300 be the next "hot ticket" on LS power ? I have seen few builds going on corvette forums. And they are getting fantastic streetable power on LS3s. With just a cam, over 600rwhp. Its not much compared to over 1k twinturbos, but in my book way better in daily driven road car.

Kyle Bush cars i getting one in DSE projects too.Anybody has any inside info of it ?

The Harrop 2300 and the Wegner drive is the coolest set up I have seen. Sparky has the prototype for the drive / blower system and it looks amazing. We are harrop delaer and Wegner dealers, so we will be packaging these set up. I plan to use one in a "special project" coming up and looking for big power with great streetable manners

Solidworks drawing of "how it works" Really good design has killer belt wrap and no crank snout stress.

Wau thanks Frank! I recall seeing Sparkys project but newer noticed that clever drive system :wow: Plese start your "special project" asap :willy:

I am looking for something like this. I was leaning towards a Magnacharger TVS2300, but the drive was going to be an issue. How much power can this support and please pm me a price. Does/can Wegner do a custom drive for a Maggie system?

I will let you know. Were doing some work on ultimate power output but it is safe to say the Maggie and Harrop are both the same size and have very similar heat exchanger design, so I believe they will both make the same power BTW, we are MagnaCharger dealers also.

What I truly LOVE about the Harrop / Wegner set up is the position of the jack shaft and the fact it runs off the back side of the balancer instead of extending far forward like the maggie. It seems logical belt tension or belt wrap will not be a issue, meaning less slip, meaning more possible boost.

I am looking at doing a 450ish cubic inch or so set up and putting it on kill. I will probably play with a small shot of nitrous as a added itercooler. Wegner will be building it, but it won't happen tomorrow.
