55 Chevy Modern Pro Street
I had to put my car aside for awhile when we moved to a new home. It's been kept at my buddies place where I stopped today. Still plenty of work left to do so I took a few pics (yeah it's abit dirty) to keep the inspiration going. Soon we'll be doing a DIS conversion, adding a water/meth injection system and finishing up some bits that we didn't get time to do before we moved. Maybe make a full chassis dyno pulls and see where 14 or 15lbs of boost will do.
My buddies uncle says "it's too low"....I think it's alright http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...y/DSC00265.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...y/DSC00264.jpg M&H 390/45/17 Drag Radials http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...y/DSC00257.jpg Twin Turbo 565" BBC http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...y/DSC00256.jpg "Original Like" Interior http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...y/DSC00271.jpg |

Awesome ride
|
dig the tri-5s! My uncle had a 55 back in the 70s when I was a little kid... if you saw the ride height maybe your uncle and mine are of the same era :D
I think the ride height is fine... were it me the only change would be to rake it by dropping the front more. I am a big fan of rake on anything hot rod tho'... Are the fronts 15" wheels? They look smaller than the rear, but may be a tire/fenderwell optical illusion. If they are smaller, I think same size 17s on the front would make a great match, especially with some rake. |
Thanks for the compliments.
The fronts are 17x7 and the rears are 17x11. I drive the crap outta this thing, if I lower the front anymore, it will likely start to induce bump steer as the lower control arms are "just a tick" up from level now. I will try lifting the rear up 1/2 to 3/4" and see how that looks! |
The stance is great! PITA to remove the back tires, but it is definitely worth it.

Looks awesome!
Whats the tire brand/size up front? |
BF Goodrich Traction TA 225/55/17

Thanks!:D Thinking of a similar wheel/tire setup for my El Camino.
