Katech coil relocation bracket
Can someone tell me where the main bracket mounts, looking at pictures of the bracket its difficult to understand where its actually bolting to. Is it the inside surface of the valve covers or intake manifold mounting bolts? Do they require modifying the valve covers?
Thanks Rich |
I think it's pretty slick, I like the design.

It's what I'm running on Penny, very nice design. The main functional benefit is that you don't have to pull the coils to remove the valve cover. |

You can see here.. imagine the fasteners like Scott showed holding it the valve covers. The VCs are drilled and tapped for the bolts and there are around 5 per a valve cover. |

yep pretty basic- u need to space the coils before u tighten them down- very easy |
Thanks Guys- so your pretty much stuck buying there valve covers to mount them. I was wondering if I could mount them to a set of gm center bolt competition Chevrolet valve covers. I amagine the threaded holes in the inside verticle plain of your VC's must have a casted boss. The Katech covers aint cheap, the gm chevy covers are nice for 110 bucks per.
Thanks again Rich |
