T-56 Question

Is there a bushing in the tail shaft of the T-56 like there is in TH350/TH400 transmissions to support the output yoke? I'm getting some driveline vibration that I'm 99% sure is coming from a worn tailshaft bushing in the T-56 in my 68 Camaro. I'm trying to figure out how easy this will be for me to fix myself. I'm a fairly competent mechanic, so as long as I won't mess up any bearing pre-load etc by pulling the tail housing off, I'd like to fix it myself this Saturday. Hopefully someone in the know will chime in!

Thanks

Let me try this another way, who here has dealt with a reputable T-56 repair/rebuild shop?? I'm looking for either a shop that will ship a transmission and let me return mine as a core or that can turn mine around in a very short amount of time. Mine's not torn up, but it is worn out. I'm tired of the driveshaft vibrations due to the worn tailshaft bushing - ready to get it fixed.

If it matters at all, my transmission is out of a 93 F-body and is NOT the G92 version. It's the standard super low first gear version (lower torque rating) that came most 93's with a standard transmission.

I sent two T56's to http://ddperformance.com/ to be rebuilt with the normal upgrades for strength. They called me the day they arrived and called me the following day to tell me they were ready to ship back to me. It really can't get any better than this.

Thanks for the props on D&D. I also found a place in Mooreville, NC (much closer to me) called Tick Performance that does T-56 rebuilds. I'm just hoping to avoid getting ripped off with the economy like it is now. I can't afford to lose my transmission to a shop closure in the middle of my rebuild.

Replacing the tail bushing is not that big of a deal.... remove the shifter, and pound the roll pin down to get the shifter reciever off the shift rail, then remove the bolts and the tail housing comes right off.... the bushing is in the tail housing...
