T56 and BBC, what clutch and flywheel are recommended

I have a 69 Firebird with a BBC with 2pc rear main. I have a 93-97 T56. What do you guys recommend for clutch and flywheel setup? Can I use an aftermarket flywheel with a stock clutch?

Also, has anyone dealt with ATS lately? I placed an order a week ago and it's status is still "unbilled" and "unshipped" and their telephone is always busy, are they still in business?

Thanks in advance

You may not have gotten responses because both questions can be substantially narrowed, if not answered, by searching here, at Pro-touring.com and Camaros.net. I generally find that if I put in a little effort using the search functions at these sites, I get better responses.

having tried and hated a centerforce dualfriction and driven and loved a mcleod street twin, both in big power big block cars i must say that the street twin was awesome to drive, it was like an oem honda clutch where the centerforce felt more like a pre war john deere......

they sat that the tilton carbon/carbon is the ultimate but its also 5grand.....

my strong advice is mcleod street twin, dont and i repeat dont get a single dics clutch, no matter what the adverts say or who ever recomends it, it can never be as smooth, drivable or yummy as a twin dics.... (the car i tried it in was a bu like mine with a merlin headed ls7 BBC with a solid roller cam in the 250 range and tall gears... so all you ever did was pump the clutch in trafic and it didnt get old or irritating.... )

the street twin comes with the flywheel btw

Clutch and flywheel should be arriving in a few days from summit, then the fun begins!
