Who can widen fenders???
Need to get some wheels on order for the project. Problem has always been the front rim offsets due to the C5 track width in the Chevy 2 front end. If I could only pickup another 1/2" to 3/4" it would open up a whole world of wheels that better suit the projects theme. I am willing to buy another set of front fenders and ship them to someone who is REALLY good at stretching sheet metal. Can any of you guys recommend someone to do this???
Thanks Howard |
Howard, take a look at this page: http://metalshapers.org/shopviews/
I'm sure any one of them could do it, a couple of them are actually legends in the field. If you scroll down to the bottom, there's a link to a list of shops state by state. |
Thanks for the link! I was hoping to find someone who someone on this forum has used and knows. I am however going to E-mail a few guys on that site.

You should give Aloha Automotive, one of our sponsors, a try. They do a lot of custom metal fab projects.

Is that a good or bad thing !!!LOL! I need someone who can get it done pro and get it done!! I really don't want to deal with it myself! |
I have no complaints and very happy with his work. He has done an extensive amount of work on my car. He is fairly quick with small jobs. The 7 month time frame has to do with my budget, not his work ethics. If you want I can give you his phone #.
