Stock 73 Olds 350
 

I have a stock Olds 350 it is a 1973 engine according to the heads. I looked up these heads and they have a measly 8.5:1 compression ratio.
To me it sounds like it needs a supercharger. I would get a better carb and headers and exhaust but add a centrifugal blower to make up for the crappy compression.
Is this a stupid idea?
