Don't want to discourage you here, but, 5500 is steep for an LS motor. I do wish you the best of luck however, and, welcome to the boards.

Oh and by the way, forum rules states you must tell where you are.

Is that LS with tranny for $5,500?

i called a junkyard and they wanted 7k for an engine, gm gets 4600 plus core for this engine and thats stripped, i have the computer, and complete engine including radiator, fans etc, no trans though this is a 15k mile ls2 find a beter deal than this
