Front end "kits" for 65 Mustang?
Hello..
My dad was visiting last month, and saw a nice tubular front subframe in one of my magazines and thought that it was pretty cool. Yesterday he calls up and says that he wants to put on in my stepmothers 65 Mustang.. (and later one in his 67) I was wondering what suspension "kits" are available for the 65 Mustang, so far I've found R&C Motorsports and Heidts. Is there any other company that I should/could be looking at? Any help would be great :) Thanks |

We have 2 options. A mustang II or a superide II. You can check both out on our site under 64-70 Mustang. Let me know if you have any questions. You can just PM me |
I would stick with global west or tcp coil overs and a rack and pinion kit.

We sell Total Control Products (which is also a Chris Alston Chassisworks company) and the stuff is automotive jewelry. Good stuff.

You might want to try RRS front end kits, they are not a tubular kit, but a bolt on conversion componets to make the car handle better. Like a bolt in conversion front McPherson strut assembly with spindles and nice disc brakes, new reinforced lower arms, updated strut rods. The best...? they offer a Bolt -in power rack and pinion. Also check out their Bolt in REAR 3-Link Torque arm suspension with a Watts Link. www.rrs-online.com Hope this helps |
