Lateral-g Forums - New Member / 70 Chevelle Long Term Project

Well, I have been working on my 70 Chevelle for over 20 yrs. Yes, I'm slow and life changes and otherinterests have taken presedent. But I am ready to start back the processes of building this car. As it stands now, the body is off the frame and the frame is 90% complete, but with new technology and directions I want to take this in, I will be making changes. Of course, without the internet years ago, the knowledge of building a car was not there and I have done a couple of things backwards. So now, I want to get the body back on the frame, build and make some changes, and pull it back apart for paint.
My first problem is body mounts. I ordered a kit of poly years ago, but they did not come with the metal sleeves. Mine original ones are really toasted. So where can one get replacements, without ordering original type body mounts?
