Mini tubing a already painted Car

Anyone know if it is possible to mini tub an already painted car and not **** up the paint?

Not a problem to do, Just takes some care to protect the surfaces before starting to work

Good to know. Im looking at buying a a 67 that I have found on the net. Its already got a great paint job on it. I personally would want to tub before it sat the way I wanted.

It has been done, but you really need to take special care in bracing the body during the process. I have seen some really big whaler dents happen after tubbng a ainted / bodyworked car.

mask off the edges of the wheelwells and the rest of the car,so you don't mess up the paint and as Frank mentionned make sure it's braced up and on level floor when tubbing
