Procharger or Vortech ?

hi all,
in my brain is a new idea
i will buy a charger for my El-camino.
now comes the question:
what is the better choice ? Procharger or Vortech stuff ?
all comments welcome

I have never had either but have heard nothing but comments about the pro-charger stuff! We are building a Chevelle with a 540ci BBC in it and we hope to talk the customer into a procharger!

I know Frank(prodigy customs) is a dealer on them!

Well According to what is the Fastest Blowers used to day in PSCA racing Pro Charger Hand down only becuase they move the most air volume and Keep it from getting hotter compared to the others

But Voretech possibly has the better pricing

ATI PROCHARGER is the only choice. P1sc self contained oil- 2300 bucks. best money I have spent. The power is unreal. And if you really want more power and have the money step us to D1 model or F model, there unreal. If carbureted engine then the install is very easy, just dont forget your fuel system must be able to handle the increased power.

was it procharge that wouldn't stand behind it or the dealer that sold it? I help alot of people with power adder's and haven't personally heard of any problem's, but if this is the case, i will surely help spread the word.......hotwheels of insanemustangs.com

Its common at Pro Charger. I was very good friends with an owner of a local speed shop. He wouldn't sell Pro Charger as they were hard to reach and didn't stand behind their warranty.

Thats seems strange to me. We installed one a 94 Lt 1 camaro and after running it for awhile it seemed to whine more than normal. We sent it back and they installed a new front bearing in the housing at no charge. I can promise you that if I have any problems with mine and get no help I will surely let every one here no about it. I do know that in the past if you pay a one time fee of 52 bucks and dont change the pulley size for the first 3 years you got an unconditional warranty on all parts and labor.
