billet aluminum frame and suspension

This is a car I helped build, it is a cobra replica aluminum body with a all billet aluminum frame and suspension. It was built for one of the richest men in the world, he wanted something different. Here are some pics, if there is any interest I will post more. We built two of them, the first one we built to test and run at the track. Then when everything was right we built the real one. Right now we are in the process of finishing the first one because it never was fully finished. (body work, interior, side pipes)

the title made me think "yeah, right..." WOW ! that is really cool !

I just have to say that the carb seems like a turd in crystal punch bowl. That car should have EFI .

Cool car. I built a cobra replica back in 2001, but not one of this caliber.

The body is a kirkham, probably the best replica company out there as far as detail and accuracy. I believe they are the only company that produces aluminum cobra bodies:

Not sure how different this one is, the frame in your pics looks totally custom (amazing, actually).

Using their chassis you can build one for less than $100k.

Seven figures is a LOT!!! Wow!

Pricing from their site:

Our cars start at $56,995 for the 427 models and $61,995 for the 289 models.

Each replica comes standard with most everything needed to complete a car (less engine, exhaust, clutch, transmission, drive shaft, differential and half shafts). For more information on what is included with each car please see the specs for each model.

here are a couple more pics of the interior. I do agree that the car should have had EFI and that was the plane but in the end the carb was chosen to tie in the old and new.
