I heard he hit his head or something because of a hard landing in an airplane and just walked it off, then the next day his wife found him dead.

Word on the street is Vince Shlomi killed Billy Mays with a Slap Chop.

I have to say, even when he knew he was being taped behind the scenes on the Pitch Men show... he still came up with some total BS claims for the products (even before he used them or even saw them in action). Am I sad to see him gone? No, of course not... but he definately reminded me of a stereotypical used car salesman.

It is a shame.
He seemed like a good guy. Only 50 as well?!?! I was watching his show, "PITCHMAN" yesterday and found out about his death like an hour later. It is a shame. R.I.P.

Luggage came out of the overhead bin and "KABOOMED" poor Billy in the noggin. He said he had a thick skull & refused medical attention.

That shamwow guy is the king pitchman now. "It's made by Germans & yoou know they make good stuff, it sells itself"!
