LS7 Which regulator?
Does the LS7 use a Vacuum regulator or not?
Trying to decide which to use for my LS7 tune. Thanks |
I'm using an Aeromotive 13101 and no vacuum reference.

Up to the filter it's -8, past the filter and to the rail, it's -6. I can't remember off hand the brand of fuel filter, but it's a large capacity 10 micron unit with -8 fittings.

If i recall right the out port in Ricks tank was 6AN ? Do you have larger or did you just use adapter fitting there? |
I used a Trickflow 10 micron filter.
My Rick's tank has -8 fittings, my fuel system is all -8 until after the fuel filter. My sending unit for the fuel pressure gauge is in the -6 line. |

Great..mine has #6 even i did order it with bigger walbro pump:question: |
Scott- How did you plumb the sender into the 6 line?, Im thinking TEE mounted up on the back of the engine or firewall close to the rails?
Thanks Rich |
Rich, sorry for the delay, I missed this post. :_paranoid
Russell makes an inline -6 fitting with a 1/8 NPT fitting: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-670343/ http://static.summitracing.com/globa...s-670343_w.jpg |
Thanks- Last night I was thumbing through my russell catalog and saw that fitting. I assume you mounted it right off the fuel rail?
I believe you told me your regulator is mounted in the back , did you run a short piece of #6 line from the return port on the reguator to the tank? Let me get this right- #8AN from the in tank fuel pump to the regulator- out of the regulator with # 8AN up to the firewall through the filter then convert to 6 up to the fuel rail? Thanks Scott Rich |
