Wheel backspacing

Looking for some back spacing suggestions for my 67 Camaro. Has 10 bolt, no mini tub, multi leaf suspension. Front has ATS spindles, speedtech control arms. Let me know what you boys all think as I am going shopping on Friday.

This would work for me...

8" front wheel,4.5"-5" b/s (depending on brand),4.75" being ideal
9" rear wheel,5" b/s

245/45 or 40-series front tire
275/40 rear tire

Where are you going shopping, and for what brands?

The route we normally go is a 17x8 front, with a 4.875" backspace, and a 17x9.5 rear with a 5.5" if you are looking at step lip sizes.

In Softlip sizes, I like to run a 8" wide wheel front, and a 9" wide wheel rear (available in 18x9) with a 4.875" front, and a 5.25" backspace rear.

17" sets we run a 235-245/45/17, and a 275/40/17 rear.

In 18", I like to run a 235 or 245/40/18 and a 275/40/18.

I'm personally a fan of at least 18s on these cars, as the rear tire size fills up the wheel wells better, and I think it looks much nicer than the shorter 275/40/17.

We have several sets we stock in different brands in these sizes. We almost always have Foose legends in stock ready to ship for Camaros, and other fast turn around options being Billet Specialties, and Vintage Wheel Works.

Keep us posted with what you decide on.

Im stuck with the backspacing issue on my 69 Firebird.
Whats the best size and backspacing for 18 inch TTII's, I have drum brakes all corners. Stock rear end stock front end nothing is modfied.

BTW, i live down the street from you DriverzInc, do you have any TTII's i could test fit to make sure it fits before buying it?

Your Firebird probably has a 1" wider rear then a Camaro. You need to measure the hub to hub overall width to find out
