Is there anything aftermarket similar to a DIC (Driver Information Center)
 

I want to use standard analog gauges in my project, but it would be cool to have a DIC like the C5's and C6's. Obviously it wouldn't have a computer to control all the functions of the car, but it could have a trip computer, outside temp, etc..

The ISIS InTouch unit is along those lines, but I was thinking of something with more of a text based display.. more factory looking. I would think a product like this, priced similar to a high end stereo head unit, would be a big seller..

I would think that it could do the following things without a master computer:
TPMS
Door Ajar Messages
Outside/Inside Temp
Welcome Message
Trip Computer Functions (even easier with gps now)
What else?
