70 Nova on a budget

Well I have kind of lost some of my motivation so I'm posting some of my project pics hoping a few comments will give me that motivation back.
here is a few pictures of what I started with. It's nothing High dollar like most of the project posts on here.

Ok, I started with the engine and engine bay. First time I have done any project this big. So I had no clue on where to start. So I started with what I knew best the engine.

Looks pretty good, keep doing what you're doing. What are your plans for it? Once you get going you will realize that you can do much more than you thought. I'm up to my neck in Rusty metal, but I have found that if I separate everything into smaller sections, things start to happen.

What are you using for tranny?

Well right now I have a TCI streetfighter Turbo350 that was laying around so I'm going to use that for now. Ultimate goal would be to put a 5 speed in it.

I might be a little bias, but heres a video of my 71 Nova. Hope it motivates you. You got a solid Nova there, keep us posted on the progress.

That's one nice Nova! Nice job with the repairs and engine bay clean up too. Dig in and go for it. You have a great foundation to work with there and like 67rstbkt said, if you cut it down into smaller projects or sections it is really not too bad. Go look at what I have to start with and you will feel MUCH better about yours. I am having a hell of a time with motivation this week and no idea why. But looking around here and asking questions seems to help get me back in gear.
Good luck and please keep the pictures and updates coming. I just subscribed to this build.
