Newbie!!!!!! long time lurker

Hey guys just thought i would take a second to introduce myself and say how much i love the place!!!

first off, im not here to sell anything!!! lol i know how some boards can be about non-sponsors, im just another guy with a love for cars that can respect great craftsmanship, and ill be the first to say i see alot of it on here!!!!

Names Blake Hughes, i am 26 and the owner of a shop in southwest Mo, 417 Motorsports. We do ALOT of late model GM LSx based projects. After building numerous cars for customers, having a few in magazines and that jaz im finally wanting a street car of my own.

building a 67 nova sedan, twin turbo lsx, c4 front susp, triangular 4 link fab rear, bla bla bla... ill get a few pics of it up in a few days when i get them loaded on here.

until then ill just leave ya with a few pics of my race car, its a True 10.5" tire car, LS based motor, 91.5mm turbo, glide, neil chance, FAST efi, ect

And this is the car i did for a customer of mine that made me REALLY fall in love with old school cars...Now i know its not a shiny one like alot on here but its got character ;) its a 67 nova, ls 408in 6 spd, twin 61mm turbos, 10 pt moly hidden cage, Dynoed 1080 rwhp on good gas and 786 on pump. Car has been on both 2008 and 2009 power tours and long hauled both times averaging 28-31 mpg. Track times on a 9" drag radial, and low boost (pump gas) netted a 10.02 @141 with room on the table for more LOL never the less the cars a BLAST to drive!!!

Welcome! Nice work on both cars! I really like the black one. Total sleeper, no bling, just a wolf in sheeps clothing. NICE!

I agree, total sleep look, but I bet it doesn't sound like a sleeper. Very cool builds.
