Ls1 Ecu ?????

I just recently purchased a LS1/4L60E combo for my project. I already have a LT1 T56 that I would like to run, and from reading other posts on this forum I should be able to do so with some modifications. My question is, will I need to get an ECU from a T56 car, or will the one I have for the 4L60E work.

We sent ours to Street and Performance in Arizona to reflash to the correct manual programing. It was $200 plus s/h.
