Keep it or swap it
2 Attachment(s)
I own the CarCraft magazine Project 78 Malibu and a 1983 Malibu Woodie Wagon, as of lately the Malibu has just been sitting since I've gotten it with limited driving. I've lost interest in finishing it and would like to make the wagon a nice driver/cruiser to load the family in and take to carshows. I've been contemplating stripping the Malibu of all parts CarCraft has put on it and use them to make the wagon a nice reliable car to enjoy. I don't have the budget to buy new parts for the wagon and leave the Malibu to sit until I'm interested again so I thought swapping the parts over would be the best bet and save the Malibu shell for the future. Whats your opinions?
Heres some info on the Malibu. Project78 The wagon is bone stock. The pic has been chopped. |
I say sell the Malibu and keep the wagon Malibu. That way you can have a cruiser and take your family along to shows as well.
GOOD LUCK! |
I've thought about selling it but I don't think I would get enough to do the wagon.

What kind of parts can you pull off the Malibu?
Those wagons can look pretty cool...I personally would have to ditch the 'Woodie' look though...but that's just me! ;) |

It's all good!
I say go for it if you think it will get you and the family out on the road in a completed car sooner...that's what it's all about my friend!! |

Just my opinion though. AND,....you will have a pretty unique car as well. |
I say just give me the Malibu since you can't decedie what to do with it and you can cruise your stock wagon. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I vote to keep the wagon, transfer everything over from the Malibu and go have fun with your family. You only get so many chances to do it before the kids are grown and gone. Go do it now and enjoy the time in a cool car together.
