Need some transport help....

Im looking to ship a car from Michigan to Vegas for Sema. One way...and it has to be there by a specific date...
I know some of you have dealt with this before.. so Im looking for advise as to what a good company to use would be.
I will not be there to receive the car.. but will be showing up sometime that week.

Any suggestions??

thanks.

I use Intercity Lines.. my guess is that it would be $1100 to $1400 but they sure take care of your car. Call for the actual price

Exotic is also good. Reliable is good, but they are BIG and I don't feel I get the same personal service as Intercity.

Another option is a private carrier.. just make sure they are bonded and insured.

Or find someone going that way and hitch a ride.

Thanks... I'll call Intercity tomorrow. Im so nervous about shipping it to a convention center and not being there to receive it. Feels pretty strange.:_paranoid lol.

Reliable has their main hub outside Detroit. I would absolutly see if they have a SEMA load. Word on the street is they are not doing so much OEM work now and are hungry.

You will have someone there to 'receive' the car though...right?

http://www.reliable-carriers.com/

they have a michigan office based in canton.

as said before check if they have room on one of what i would assume would be many trucks leaving the detroit metro area for sema (hitch a ride kinda thing)

I have used them before involving a cross country trip (michigan to cali) (michigan into canada) and never had an issue and felt at ease ( as easy as one can feel - ya know )
