PT GMC Indy Typhoon Newbie
I'm trying to make a 1992 Typhoon handle so I figured I'd join this site for ideas. Check out the pics of my ride
http://www.northeastsyty.com/gallery...pe-My-Lil-Mule I'm going the complete coilover front/rear suspension route and Baer 4 wheel discs 13" front/12" rear with ZR1s 17x9.5 front/17x11 rear. The front kit is from JSManufacturing and the rear kit is a 4 link from PEP. Eibach adjustable fronts and QA1 adjustable rears. The paint is new on the truck last year and a bigger turbo motor build is in the works. That's my project list for the winter. I see Marty is a new member here, too. His truck is gonna be killer when it's done (if he ever stops changing is build recipe - just kidding Marty). Any other syty guys on this forum - chime in!!! |
Hmmmm. I must be the leper in this colony. Thanks for the warm welcome....

welcome to the site, it seems like a lot of the guys that post regularly are at SEMA at the moment enjoying themselves. You should find all you need here. I'm sure normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!l lol |
yep its just us suckers that are left behind...lol
Welcome to the site. |
Welcome. I am at work and couldn't look at your site. But I have always love the Typhoons and Syclones. I kinda wonder why GM doesn't bring them back. Anyway, welcome to the site.

IS PEP still selling the rear kits and do you already have the JS Kit for the front ?? |
I don't think PEP is making the SYTY kits anymore. Most of their kits were for the Syclones - I got one of the very few Typhoon kits off of a wrecked truck in California. I just bought the front JS coilovers from a guy in Maryland already powdercoated red and with a couple different springs and shocks so I can dial it in the way I want. I do need some contact info for PEP if you got it - I need two replacement brackets for the rear kit to weld onto my frame.
BTW - real nice job on your truck dude. Very impressive - I don't think I'll ever go that wild. I'm just gonna try and max out the bolton route first and see if I'm happy with it. |
