Corvette hub kits for second gen camaros
Does anyone know of a company out there making corvette style hub kits for second gen camaros? Would there be much interest out there for parts like these?
Thanks for any responses Paul |
American Touring specialties was making an 'AFX' spindle that would work on second gens. Not sure on the status of the company right now, or if they are still available.

Call Tobin!

Actually, what I'm looking for is a hub/spindle assembly for second gen camaros that would replace the stock parts. I will give Tobin a call though.
Thanks Paul |
From your first post I wasn't sure if you were thinking of making them to sell. The AFX spindles are a bolt on, you just need chevelle steering arms and outer tie rod ends. I bought mine from Mark Savitske at Savitske Classic & Custom. http://www.scandc.com/

ATS Spindle is the only one i know of
|
Thanks for the call Paul. Other than the ATS AFX spindle, the only other suggestion I could make is that you contact Art Morrison Ent or any of the other aftermarket (sub-)frame suppliers building chassis using the C5/C6 front knuckles...just depends on how serious $$$ you're looking to get. :unibrow:
Maybe Mr. Matt at AME will chime in on this thread when he gets the chance. Tobin KORE3 |
I have a 70 Camaro that I have been working on that have been waiting for more bolt on suspension parts to come out.. The dropped spindles that I have for this project is not really the route I want to go with.. I like the bearing pack/hub idea on the spindle like C5/C6.. I will see if I have a solid model of the spindle that I worked on for some custom brakes I did.. If I try to make these spindles they will be out of cast iron with some good solid mounting point for calipers.. steel or aluminum forgings is very expensive!
